Holly Waterfield has a warm smile, a relaxed presence, a can-do philosophy and, not least, a passion for designing homes that make every one of its residents—big, little and four-legged—happy. Her full-service studio does it all: complete townhouse renovations, complicated apartment conversions, thoughtful furniture refreshes, successful staging for developers. Whether she works independently or in collaboration with architects and builders, each project reflects the vision of the client while incorporating Holly’s signature and strategic use of space, custom elements, organic materials and loads of vintage textiles. Holly is also the Style Director for The Brooklyn Home Company, a high-end boutique development firm.
Holly's talents include managing projects on time and on budget, having honed her business acumen as a marketing executive, event producer for the Nantucket Film Festival and the owner of the cult-favorite West Village lifestyle shop, Camp. Once she realized that interior design was her truest love, Holly earned a degree from Parsons and a new career. Her work has been features in AD, Dwell, Martha Stewart Living, Living Etc. among others.
When not dreaming up perfect layouts, Holly is most likely hunting down vintage gems at markets near and far, riding her bike around town, or hanging at her favorite place in Brooklyn – home with her kiddos, Emmy + Bodhi.
